Using the Pinterest Text field provided by Tasty Pins means you're free to use the image alt text for what it's actually intended!
Alt text's primary purpose is to provide a description of the image – not the entire page contents – to the visually impaired. This lets everyone “see” the image on the page, even if they can't truly “see” it!
An added bonus of using the alt text properly is an improvement for searchability of those images in Google search. It's a win-win!
